Ahlam Afrass,
UX & UI Designer
Open to a full-time position within a structured, collaborative, and supportive team.
Based in Montpellier, available on-site or remotely.
I’ve always been curious about how people perceive, feel, and interact with the world around them. This curiosity first led me to visual arts and later to UX/UI design, where I can craft interfaces that are clear, consistent, and enjoyable to use, all while integrating thoughtful project management.
Today, I’m a UX/UI Designer with a strong sensitivity for coherence, clarity, and designing simple, intuitive user journeys and experiences.
I also have a penchant for digital project management—I love working in structured, well-thought-out environments where creativity meets a user-centered approach.
I always aim to minimize cognitive load for users. In a world where we constantly juggle countless tools and interfaces, the last thing I want is to add friction.
Instead, I design experiences that naturally guide users, encourage exploration, and invite them to go further—without ever feeling lost from the very first interaction.
Empathy is at the heart of my work. I always remember that on the other side of the screen is a complex, unique person—just like me—with their own needs, emotions, and constraints. I design for them.
I want my interfaces to convey trust, fluidity, clarity, and that reassuring feeling that everything is exactly where it should be.
I find inspiration in the world around me: photography, painting, observation, daily design exploration (UX/UI practice, vibecoding, Product Hunt, new digital products, AI, Awwwards…), the ideas of creatives I follow—and all those small everyday details that tell a story.
When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me:
- walking in nature, on trails or in the mountains
- cooking and experimenting with new dishes or desserts
- solving a sudoku
- painting or drawing
- vibecoding with tools like Claude, v0, Antigravity, and Lovable to prototype and build websites or applications.
- arranging beautiful bouquets of flowers
I also enjoy the smell of freshly baked bread, burning wood, and the earth after rain.
I am a curious, detail-oriented, and thoughtful person, fascinated by how a simple interface can genuinely make life easier.
